I’ve been wanting to go to Lotte World for a long time, and have been meaning to ever since I came to Korea. Yesterday was the day that I actually went there, and it was awesome! Lotte World is an in- and outdoor amusement park in Seoul that’s open all year around. I think the indoor part of Lotte World is mostly meant for children (except the awesome pirate ship thing that went really fast, and that one rollercoaster), the outside part of it was definitely better!
It was halloween-themed cause it’s soon October! I was told koreans don’t really celebrate halloween though. hmm…
Several floors with stores and places to eat etc. The first floor is an ice rink!
SunHo and I went there pretty early, around noon I think, so there weren’t a lot of people there. We didn’t really have to stand in line a lot, which was great! I saw at least 3 different groups of kindergarten kids in matching outfits and with their cute little backpacks, they all seemed very amused haha ~ other than that, there were A LOT of couples.
The outside part of Lotte World! There was this one ride called Gyro Drop, it takes you 70 meters up (and the view from there is so nice!!), and then suddenly you drop right down :D
My favorite out of all the rides was one that spun you around while swinging you back and forth REALLY fast, it was so awesome. I will definitely go back to this amusement park sometime! Also I want to go to another amusement park called Everland :D
