my new place
so it’s been a week already since my last post, and I didn’t even notice the time passing by.. I’ve been to busy meeting friends, studying and just having a good time in general. My weekend was nice, I went to Baiwei’s place again, ate together with his family and then we all went to the playground and played basketball together haha. I really like the place where he lives, since it’s a lot more quiet than Seoul. On monday Erica came back from China, and on Tuesday I pretty much spent the whole day helping her move - she moved in right across the hallway from my room haha. it’s so great having her right here in the same Gosiwon; we’re going to school together in the morning, and we’re planning to start cooking together :D She bought me dinner that day since I helped her move~ yummy donkassu! (japanese food)
On Wednesday I met Diana, and we took the bus together to where she lives (takes about 1h 30mins). Her new place is really nice, I bought her a tiny cactus in a pot as a “move-in present” - the lady in the flower shop said it’s name was “sue”, so Diana named it “Mari-sue” lol. We watched a nice korean movie together, and took a long walk outside in the dark while talking about all kind of things. Then we were gonna walk to the bus, and got lost on the way.. so we had to ask for directions, and ended up just going to the subway instead haha.
Today, school started again! I was really excited to be back in school, cause I enjoy korean class a lot. It’s funny how I realized that I really missed the 250won cheap coffee from the vending machine in school - which I was happily drinking in class today. My new classmates seem like nice people, and the funny thing is that one of them was my classmate in level 2! he is re-taking level 4, and we ended up being classmates again haha. Oh and, this semester I’m using a backpack - so much more convenient!! After school, Baiwei and I ate lunch together, I forgot my umbrella twice and we had to go back to get it both times lol.. and then we spent a few hours in a coffeeshop close to my place, where we were doing korean homework, chinese/english language exchange, and just talking lots.
About my new place - the Gosiwon where I’ve been living for almost 2 weeks. I really like my room and the fact that I now have a tv..! It’s super interesting to watch korean tv-shows, especially the humor shows. And probably my favorite part is all the random commercials and strange “tv-shop” programs, cause the people acting in them are usually exaggerating A LOT and it’s just really funny to watch. My internet connection hasn’t been working much at all for a few days, so instead I’ve been watching tv a lot! Anyways, here are some pictures of my room;

My wonderful pink walls! :D
I think I made it quite cozy ^^
I bought this little cactus-like thing the other day, and I wanna keep him for a long time! Luckily I heard from the flower-shop lady that I’m only supposed to water it once a month - otherwise I would’ve drowned him lol. Oh and, right outside my window is a shoe-shop called “Le Bunny Bleu”, kinda cute haha.
Now I’m off to do my homework and prepare for tomorrow’s class!
